Here's what you need to know to get started.
Laboratory testing

Before starting treatment with BAFIERTAM, your healthcare provider will likely perform tests to check your liver function and undertake a complete blood count (CBC). This will include a lymphocyte count to check for infection or a blood disorder. Even if you are already taking another fumarate, you may still need a blood test. After starting treatment with BAFIERTAM, you can expect regular blood tests to track its safety.1
